Nashville resident, Bailey McBroom’s music is as bright and fun as the red lip she dons. Starting at an early age, McBroom found that she had a passion for writing her thoughts and others stories into music. After being awarded the "Outstanding Songwriter Award" at Anderson University's Music Business Camp in 2009, she realized this love for writing could be turned into more than a hobby.
McBroom went on to study Music Business at Anderson University and spent a semester in a music intensive program in Nashville, at the Contemporary Music Center. In these years, she grew extensively in her music and found her own mix of indie pop and rock. With influences like Ingrid Michaelson, Grace Potter, Elle King, and Amy Winehouse, McBroom has made it a priority to mix catchy tunes with vulnerable and honest lyrics. She says "my favorite part about songwriting is connecting with people. It’s a beautiful thing to be able to turn experiences, both good and bad, into such a relatable release.”
